On the 3rd of March we were honored to count on Mr. Laurent GUITTEY to hold a Seminar under the Title: «Migration and counter-trafficking issues in Cote d’Ivoire. New challenges for a country with the fastest growing economy within the West Africa Region»,

Mr. Laurent GUITTEY is currently a Project Manager in the International Organization for Migration (IOM) – Mission in Cote d’Ivoire. He is leading several local and sub-regional projects focused on counter-trafficking, border management and migration issues.

He has participated in various seminars that enabled him to be an active member of Cote d’Ivoire National Task Force to design the national policy of child protection in Côte d’Ivoire.
He also has extensive experience in strategic and operational planning within the framework of protection and assistance projects for vulnerable people (mainly against human trafficking and child labor).

He has a Master of Arts in philology. He specialized at the University level in Guidance Counseling and Psychology. Moreover, he has a rich and solid experience in capacity building for the protection of vulnerable people, including children and migrants.

Mr Laurent Guittey is the Chief in Cote d’Ivoire of OIM  “Migration and counter-trafficking issues in Cote d’Ivoire. New challenges for a country with the fastest growing economy within the West Africa Region”

He has also National Program Officer in International Labour Organization (ILO)
