Protein methods


Among the methodologies related to Biology and Biomedicine, those directed to the analysis of various aspects of proteins are key to further understanding of the different biological phenomena and their changes. This course aims, within the framework of the analysis of biological molecules, for the students to become familiar with the techniques of extraction, purification and analysis of proteins most commonly used today, highlighting the usefulness of these in different types of studies, either basic or applied.
In the course of Protein Methods, students will acquire theoretical and practical knowledge necessary for the use of current methods and experimental techniques related to protein analysis. Currently these methodologies are essential in various professional fields related to research, biotechnology or diagnosis.
