On the 26th of February we were honored to count on Ms. Carmen Picón, specialised worker of the European Central Bank in statistics, to teach us about her work in that field and how such an important International Institution develops its work
Ms. Carmen Picón was graduated in Economics in the University of Valladolid. In 1992 she started working for the Bank of Spain until 1999 when she moved to the European Central bank in Frankfurt. At first, she developed her work as an expert in reserves management in the Department of Market Operations joining later, in 2001, the Statistics Department where she has been working with the Balance of Payments.
